Neon Nexus is a top-down shooter created for the Gamedev.tv Game Jam 2024. Developed entirely by me in just a week, this is my first game and game jam entry.

In this simple yet intense game, you are under siege by relentless enemies. Make your last stand and see how long you can survive against overwhelming odds. Progress through waves, unlock upgrades, and strive to reach the highest wave possible. How long can you hold out?

Fullscreen is highly recommended.

Found out about this because I'm considering naming my game Neon Nexus and wanted to see if it was already taken. Too bad it is.

Great game though! The music especially is so good and fits with the game great! This game looks really polished, especially for a game jam game, and was a lot more addictive than I thought it would be.

(Btw, I'm using synthwave music in my game too)
